5 Money Saving Target Hacks

We have all been guilty of going into Target for 1 item and coming out with a cart full of things so check out these 5 money saving tips for your next Target trip:

1. Price mark downs?

Target will markdown certain departments on specific days of the week. Knowing the schedule can help you shop strategically so check it out below:

Monday: electronics, accessories, kids’ clothing, books, baby, stationery
Tuesday: domestic goods, women’s clothing, pets, market (food items)
Wednesday: men’s clothing, health & beauty, diapers, lawn & garden, furniture
Thursday: houseware, lingerie, shoes, toys, sporting goods, decor & luggage
Friday: auto, cosmetics, hardware, jewelry

2. End of aisle savings

For more discounted items, check the the shelves at each end of the aisle. These items are often marked down anywhere from 15 to 70 percent!

3. Clearance Codes

We all love browsing the clearance ranks or seeing the red clearance tags at Target but can you save even more money on those items? Items ending in $.06 and $.08 will be marked down again so wait to buy these items. Prices ending in $.04 are final clearance so get those when you can. Random endings like $.05 and $.01, simply indicate that the item is on clearance and will continue to be on clearance.

4. Holiday Sales

Holiday decor, items etc. are normally 50% off the day after a holiday. But if you wait a couple more days, items can drop up to 90% off. Items go quick so be on the lookout for those extra savings.

5. Cartwheel App

Target’s Cartwheel app allows you to double your savings by combining it with manufacturers coupons. Save on categories ranging from food to electronics and everything else in between.

You can also save by visiting couponmom.com to find all your grocery and drugstore needs. Print up to $1500+ printable coupons as well.

Happy Saving!
