I did this today at my local Kroger, and here’s what I spent:

Thanksgiving meal items=$19.42 after coupon:

12 lb. frozen turkey, 3 lb. sweet potatoes, 2 lb. fresh broccoli, 1 lb. fresh carrots, 5 lb. bag russet potatoes, Sister Schubert’s frozen dinner rolls with printable coupon and one loaf of wheat bread (markdown bin, to make dressing).

2 Michelob Ultra 12 pack bottles (on sale for $11.99) = $23.98

Paid at register:  $43.40 before tax

Ibotta rebate:  Less $20

Net cost:  $23.40 for Thanksgiving meal items and beer

Net cost per 12 pack of beer:  $1.99

I also saw a mail-in rebate form on the shelf by the beer that gives a $20 rebate when you buy 2 Michelob 6 packs or larger and $50 worth of gift cards.  I did that, and will mail in the rebate, for a net cost of $3.40 for the full dinner and beverages.
