When you think of coupons as free money, it makes sense to find as many good coupons as possible. It's easy to increase your new Strategic Shopping salary when you know where to find the best coupons.
Sunday newspaper coupon circulars: The majority of grocery coupons (89%) come from the Sunday circulars. Each week you can expect to find at least one circular from each coupon company: SmartSource and RedPlum. Once a month you will also find a coupon circular from Procter & Gamble. There are no newspaper coupon circulars on holiday weekends such as Labor Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other dates. You can find a schedule of coupon circular distribution here. Your best bet is to get an annual subscription to your city's largest newspaper, since the larger newspapers have more coupons than smaller newspapers. You can also buy additional copies of the Sunday newspaper in stores to have multiple coupons for your items. Then you'll be able to stock up on your items when they are at their lowest price.
